This is my build thread. I thought i would make one just to keep track of some of the stuff i have done.
This will be a really really slow build as i'm still in highschool.

My car just got rear lx450 8.25 wraps put on! Looks pretty ridiculous right now.

Nice start with the 8 wraps. What are you doing for the front? Also you might want to resize those pictures as they are HUGE. Your best bet for pictures is to upload them onto a photo sharing site like flickr or photobucket. Then resize and add the image code to your posts.

What are the specs of you 4runner?

Thanks for the advice on the images. I just ended up resizing them with a batch resizer on my computer and keeping everything on imgur.

I have bilstein 5100's and eibach coils waiting to be put on when I can get my friend's spring compressors.

Specs:

5spd sr5 3.4L
225K miles
new radiator
new goodyear wranglers 235/75/15 - which are going to be way too small!
kenwood stereo
ugly swirl rims
plasti-dipped the rims, emblems, grill and license plate surround

Broke a harbor freight spring compressor and 2 ratchets while doing my front lift, but it was worth it.

Yes I realize my tires look ridiculous.

looking like a good start! you will want to get some longer rear shocks back there lots of people pair those coils with rear shocks off of an fj80.

I seem to have grease leaking out of the inner part of the CV boot. Should I just use hose clamps and remove the old fastener?

whew

Do these CV angles look too bad? I need to reboot on one side and I was wondering if the boots would even hold up that long?

jeez that thing is lifted!

so i have the ability to pick up some LX450 7.5 wraps for super cheep. how much lift would you say your 8 wraps gave you?

also man you have the front jacked up there too.

also again, some advice to keep the wheel wells looking back so they dont stand out against the black wheels and black body. spray them with WD40 and the stay black for a long time. works for me when i go to car shows.

these are 8.25 wraps with a few miles on them. i'd say they gave about 4.5" of lift. It's usually more, but these have around 100k on them the guy who sold them to me said. If they are new 7.5's i'd say around 3.5 to 4" of lift, but i'm not sure.

Would you say the front is too high? it's on the middle setting of the tacoma bilsteins i have and that might be too high. The front feels pretty stiff with these eibach/toytec coils, but the rear is nice and smooth. The front might actually be too high which is why my cv angles seem so bad, but i'm not sure.

Thanks for the tip on the WD40!

Decided to clean her and take some pictures.

My paint is pretty rough, but she looks nice from a distance.

It was a great trip. It made me realize how badly I need some lights. On the few night rides we went on I felt completely lost while driving, so that may be something to look into for the future. I just recently switched to clear lenses on my headlights as well, so I'll get a few pictures up of that soon.
