Has anyone received and mounted the new top plate? Is the issue fixed?
I want to know as well.

Hey everyone, just wanted to address some of the concerns in this thread.
We have changed the top mounting plate that attaches to the hatch to 14ga steel instead of 11ga (much thinner steal).
We have also changed the mounting tape to a thinner more adhesive tape. This has helped the top plate sit down a little farther and hook onto the top edge of the hatch much better.
The thinner steal paired with the thinner more sticky mounting tape has resolved any rubbing or scraping issues.
Also we put together and new install video which goes much more in depth with the assembly of the ladder and how to properly install it onto the 4runner.
We have sold at least 50 ladders since those changes were made and there have been zero fitment issues or customer complaints.
Here is a link to the new install video: YouTube
If any of you guys are having rubbing issues with your current ladder mounting plate let us know and we will send you a new plate made from the thinner material and some of the new mounting tape. That coupled with watching the install video should resolve any issues you may be having.
We apologize for the problems some of you have dealt with, but we are positive they have all been resolved now!
Any idea if the ladder is compatible with the Victory 4x4 roof rack? I ordered both the C4 ladder and roof rack over black friday.

I have the same roof rack and would also like to know if the C4 ladder fits?
Dan did you have any luck installing your C4 ladder yet? Just ordered the Victory rack and was wondering the same thing...

As of right now we do not know of anyone that has installed our ladder with the Victory rack yet. Hopefully someone will be able to verify soon.
Once my Victory rack and C4 ladder get delivered I can verify fitment for ya'll.
Can I can an update on my ladder? It's been 4 weeks since placing my order.

I know some of you guys are waiting in ladders and we are getting a couple days behind on ship dates. I apologize for the extra wait time. We quickly sold out of all the ladders we had in stock during the BF sale and we continued to receive a lot of orders beyond what was in stock.
We have a shipment of laser cut parts on the way that are supposed to be delivered beginning of this week. Then we need to form the parts right away and send them to powder coat. I am guessing that within two weeks we should be shipping ladders again.
Sorry for the delay everyone! We greatly appreciate your business!
