We have never had anyone install a set on a V8 yet. The cross member must be located farther back on the V8. Do all of the other holes line up properly?

Yeah everything else but that front cross member lines up perfect!

At the risk of being flamed for not looking through the last 30+ pages of this thread - what are you guys using for black hardware for the step plates?

The black hardware I have ever been able to find is black oxide stainless steel screws. You will need 10-24 thread size in 3/8" length. Any other hardware you see that is black in the photos was probly powder coated.

I haven't done all the research yet, but this has to be one of the biggest rock slider GB's ever put together. We will be looking forward to the next one which may be the end of this year or beginning of next year. We will be planning ahead for the next one and making sure we have ALOT of sliders pre made and in stock for the GB!

Please let us know as soon as you test fit the sliders. We will do whatever is necessary to resolve a fitment issue if you have one as well.

These things are stout. Everyone can post how well they are put together but you really can't appreciate the quality until you have them in hand.

Now for the wait to get them finished and installed. I think I'm going to try something and see how it comes out. I bought a set of black oxide stainless screws for the step pads. But I think I'm going to paint the set that came with them red and see how it looks. Something like the Pro stitching on the seats. Now the wait...
