I have my driver's side bolted on with only a couple of bolts, but it looks like I'm going to have to trim my rear door trim in order to open the door. I didn't see anything mentioned about this for SR5's?

Also, it looks like at least on my driver's side so far, there's a pretty large gap between 45-ish degree angle and the cross member. Is that typical as well?

you need to drop the 3 bolts on the gas tank skid per the directions so it will allow the slider to drop into place.

Here's the overlap. It's actually not impossible to open the door (found out the hard, accidental, way), but for a permanent mounting, I'll need to trim it.



Gas tank skid. Looking at that one frame hole, it could probably come down some to make it fit, but then there would be a gap between the skid/slider and frame at the bottom?

This is the bottom second hole from the front. Looks pretty centered, but I have the gap by the cross member.

The only answer I have is to unbolt all but 2 screws and move it around until it is square and close to the frame. I had the same issue and it took a few mins of moving around until it aligned. I also choose two screw holes that would not impede lining it up correctly. Try getting a couple friends to hold it in place before bolting as it would be really hard to think these were welded out of spec.

Installed my sliders finally. Powder coated the main part of the slider matte black and the top plate with a wrinkle finish.
Since I was the only other V8 4th gen to order a set and there is apparently a difference in cross member placement from the V6. Not a huge deal.
Caleb @ C4 was awesome and more than willing to accommodate any solution I wanted to fix this problem. Since my sliders will actually bounce off of rocks every once in awhile I chose to weld the front part to the frame. TaDa! Problem fixed with no extra cost to anyone.
Thx again C4 Fab for making a great product. Couldn't be happier with them.

Yours is a pre 2014 SR5 correct? Did you remove the plastic rocker panel trim below the doors? I cant tell for sure from the photos.
When you install the sliders make sure you just loosely start the bolts in the holes so you can adjust the slider up to the frame before all of them are tight. We have not experienced a single frame fitment issue in over 200 sets of sliders that have been this year so I don't think you will have any problems if you leave the bolts loose so everything can be adjusted. Not saying that a mistake on our part isn't possible though. Keep us updated please.

Those look great on your rig man. It's nice to see people posting pics, even though others have already. There are people out there that seek out photos of the sliders on a Runner matching their color to help visualize what theirs will look like (like myself). So if you are thinking about not posting photos because someone already did, think again.

I was told spring unfortunately. They did a great job on this last group buy. I'll be at the edge of my seat if I can wait that long !!

We are still thinking the next rock slider GB will be around that same time next year. Maybe a bit earlier in the year right before spring so that if we get another huge GB, we will be able to get everyone's orders built and shipped before summer starts.

We are currently discussing a Lo-Pro winch bumper GB that we would like to offer soon. :wink2:

We are still thinking the next rock slider GB will be around that same time next year. Maybe a bit earlier in the year right before spring so that if we get another huge GB, we will be able to get everyone's orders built and shipped before summer starts.

Read the previous comments. Next one is slated for early next year. They are currently working on fulfilling orders from their lo pro bumper group buy so highly unlikely they will be offer any more group buys this year.

Hi, We don't have any group buys in the works in the next month or two. We may have a rock slider group buy this spring. There's a possibility we may due a black Friday sale depending on where we are at in production, but not sure yet. If we do it will be a flash sale and we will advertise it through our social media.
