Got mine powder coated and installed last week. ALthough Im starting to think the filler pieces under the tail lights I might go redo those in body color. Not sure Im liking the hammered grey on those filler pieces. What do you guys think?

Also I ended up going and buying the factory toyota connector for the camera and building my own harness instead of having a splice out on the bumper, a potential failure point from moisture. Also make sure you put dielectric grease in the connector when you plug it into the camera to keep moisture out.

The camera view is good though with the C4 camera bracket.

Also if anybody wonders the swing arm clears my Baja ladder just fine. I am happy about that

Thanks for posting up! Im surprised your Baja ladder cleared, we had one other customer say his would not. Kind of strange. Is it really close to the swing out?

Mine has about 1/4" clearance at the closest point. I would say one of three things with the other customers.

1. either he had a different version of your bumper cuz I have seen pics of your bumper with a different latch? Old style maybe?
2. His ladder was positioned differently side to side on his hatch or different thickness of foam under the ladder mount which made the ladder stick out slightly more?
3. difference in the thickness or position of the white plastic blocks on the latch that align it when you close the swing arm?

If anybody wants it here is the toyota connector for the camera to relocate it. Makes more sense than splicing the wires on the swing arm. I used about 20 feet of wire by the time it winds up into the vehicle, up the interior trim out into the hatch.

Looking good! Thanks for posting the backup camera pic. I was wondering how the field of vision was.

All the production bumpers out there should be the same. Maybe its just a matter of where he had his Baja Ladder positioned.

So where exactly did you use that connector?

Thats the connector that plugs directly into the factory camera. So crimp the pins, insert into the connector then plug that into the camera.

Sorry I didnt take pics of my install but in the hatch at the factory location is a short 6 inch wire harness to the camera, that you can cut and splice your wires you ran from the bumper. That way the splics is just inside the hatch and not a splice outside on the bumper.

Here is a pic of the short 6 inch harness I found on another thread that you cut in half, splice your wires into it and plug into the factory harness inside the hatch.

This is the same connector that RSG Metalworks is selling for $329!! ouch for this connector and some wire. Ridiculous. I don't do business with people like that. Thats a $50 or MAYBE $100 kit they are selling for $329 lol

I noticed those single swing arm shots have a metal cage around the jerry cans. Is that still the design that made it to production? I saw another member mention jerry can straps.

Also, Is the latching mechanism the same as in the pics?

The can carrier has been updated, the cage style with the metal cover isn't used anymore.
