C4 Fabrication 5thGen Rear Bumper

a kid pushed on the swing arm while it was locked open and instantly bent up the slide plate. ughh and I really want to eliminate the lock hole when the swing arm is closed anyway since that ones really makes it hard to open since you have to pull it open from the hinge side instead of just grabbing the handle and opening it.
[MENTION=131444]C4 Fabrication[/MENTION] anyway to have you make me a custom plate without the locking hold when the arm is in the closed position?

Wow that sucks. I had a similar problem when my plates fgot mounyed on the wrong sides. I got replacements very quickly from C4. I had wondered if another if another screw towards the middle outside might help

Is that rust?

yea I dropped the arm on cement while installing it lol chipped the coating. Im gonna be coating everything a differnet color i think soon so didnt fix it yet

Would a passenger side one from a dual swing work?

They are not interchangeable from side to side. The driver side has an extra hole to keep that side closed so it won't swing open while you open the passenger side.

I have a single swing from passenger side so I would need a passenger side plate. If I cant get C4 to accomodate I might have to make my own

Just pull it, pound it out, trace it, cut it and voila! Just my 2 cents

Hi, sorry for the mix up with the stainless plates, did we send you the correct one for your single swing out? Yours should not have had the 3rd hole in it.

NO i got one with 3 holes plus it got mangled up when someone pushed on it while locked open. Looking at the forum member here showed a pic of his passenger side one with dual arms so I thought maybe thats what I needed?

SO I emailed this morning and Kylie said sorry about that, but I havnt gotten word back yet how much to have you guys send me a new plate
