Just picked these up this morning! Hopefully I can mount them tonight. I only had to cut the metal straps to get them off of the pallet. There wasn't a bolt to unbolt for me at least.

So I got a chance to put them on this evening. Did it by myself with a couple of jacks and jack stands. Used a small crowbar to wedge the a-different-vendor gas-tank-skid (the only part where my wife helped).
The hardest part was lining up all the bolts. I got a small piece of 2x4 that had split on another occasion but ended up being the perfect size to push the plate that went on the frame around to get the holes lined up.
I was provided bolt size information. By C4 fab because I wanted to buy bolt head protectors for the ones that will face the bottom so as not to get crushed by a rock. 8mm bolts with 13mm heads and the self tapping ones had 9/16" head but can't remember the bolt size. Anyway this is where I put bolt head protectors. On the driver side cross bar bolts and on the one passenger side bolt that is in the down facing part of the frame.
Finally there is a long bolt that goes through the frame. I can't remember where C4 Fab had put the instructions but it goes on the passenger side right about where the front facing muffler hanger goes. Hope this picture makes sense.
I did not have the guts to drill through the passenger side cross member for the self tapping screws but I will work my way up to that sometime soon.
Finished install. I think they look great and feel super solid. Both my young daughters and surprisingly even the uninterested wife liked how they looked and commented on how flimsy the factory running boards were in comparison. I think these are a work of art and compliment the rugged looks of the vehicle perfectly!
Hope the rest of you get yours in soon and enjoy them as well!

Awesome! Glad they were easy to un wrap and get into your 4runner! Thanks for posting up the install tips and extra pics. Other forum members really appreciate the extra info!

unfortunately yours did not get done in time to get thrown in with the last batch that needed to be powder coated. Yours will get built this week and then coated next week. We will let you know as soon as they ship!
