If you put in your Veh. yr & model & what your looking for on ebay taadah !! Found some nice charcoal 1s & the hybrid blitz for lexus good prices then look on amazon cheers
 
use your old filter as a template and cut a new filter from a home hvac filter, reinstall and buy beer with the bucks you just saved.

Strong agree. That's what I do too. Get a good furnace filter and cut it up into 4 filters or more.
 
Used a few different ones including the Lexus carbon filter. Not Bosch, though.

The best has been Fram Fresh Breeze CF9846A. Very beefy filter with carbon and baking soda.

This kind of post kills me. You buy a $35000 +/- truck and are looking to pay less than the (about $15) the OEM thing costs at the dealer. I replace this thing every 10K miles, have it programmed on the USER DEFINABLE maintenance items on the NAV head. Its amazing the leaves, dust, dirt, and occasional Smart Car that fall out of it. Come on, get fresh air!
 
$15 bucks? I think that's at my cost... I believe we're tossin' these to customers for closer to $30 last I looked... $80 if you want them installed...

The Fram has been working good? That's a bit surprising, given Fram's reputation, but I trust ya. :)

Gatafly, I think he means it getting sucked in/blocking off the air to the blower motor cage which is located right under the filter. I'm not entirely sure how much airflow you get with those furnace filters (a lot of people run them so I assume not a severe difference if any) but in some cases there can be enough negative pressure from the blower motor that it can either burn out or suck the material down into the cage, both very very rare but I have heard about it and seen one case.

Third, The price isn't important for me... I want the best, That's it and That's all

If they are better air cabin filter than OEM , I want it and whatever the price is ..

Bingo! I just now found time to reply to Gatafly but you have already sumed it up very well. I had a Corolla come in with a burnt up blower because of a home made filter. Also seen the home made cabin filters fail because a rodent built a nest inside.
