after 5 hours of power outage.. I finally have power back but it has been on and off the last 2 hours or so..

How is everyone holding up?

A little rain, but nothing serious. That sucks you were left without power.

Surprisingly no problems here. Usually my street always gets hit with a power outage, even on a calm night. I got all my critical electronics on UPS'es.

On side note and rant, how many people here in CA still doesn't know that when your wipers are in use (when it rains), you need to have your headlights on. It's been a law for two or three years now. Yet I still see so many people who drive with their lights off.

maybe is time to invest into a generator.

the storm wasn't that bad, no thunder but there were a few puddles around where I live.

I put my lights on every time it is raining. It is just the smart thing to do. That is one thing the DRL's are good for. Does anyone else find people are idiots driving when it is raining. The other morning I saw some of the stupidest drivers and one almost caused me to t-bone them.
