Do they really think the people are going to be honest and really tell them where they spent the money? I don’t think the people are going to say I spent half the money you gave me on crack, heroin, meth, or pot and spent the other half on Jack n the box late night munchie boxes.

On a side note, hope lame a*s Villaraigosa doesn’t get enough votes to make it to the primary election for governor. He’ll screw this state up even worse than how he mismanaged LA when he was the mayor.

Democrats learned a dangerous game in California.

First they demanded that illegals get DLs.

Then they demanded that it's easier to get everyone registered to vote.

Now illegals are getting DLs and are registering to vote.

They figured, correctly, that if they are to continue their oppressive policies and they can't do so honestly at the ballot box, they're just going to perpetuate their one party state through illegal votes then look the other way and screech that there is "no evidence of voter fraud whatsoever" while they undermine the democratic process of this country with a big grin on their faces.

This is what pis*es me off about this state and the politicians that run it. They pander to the illegals and screw over the citizens here. As a legal immigrant myself and a US citizen, what pis*es me off the most is that these illegal immigrants get to go to college for free while my kids who are US citizens have to pay an arm and a leg to go to college and they barely get any type of government assistance due to the fact that according to the IRS, I make good enough money to send them through school.

I'm picking up a little more work experience here in California and getting the hell out of here. Back to the Pacific Northwest for me. So far Idaho is taking to my liking.

Exactly. I had a heated discussion with my sister about this topic awhile back. Why would you give illegal immigrants DLs. Her excuse was that if the state gives them DLs, there would be less hit and runs since they’ll have insurance so that they wouldn’t run anymore since it was required of them to have it for them to be able to have a DL,like the rest of us to have insurance. I told her that once they have it, all they’ll do is cancel the insurance since they can’t afford it and we’ll be back to square one again. And I even added that what makes you think that they’ll follow the rules to begin with when they’re already breaking the rules to begin with by being here illegally. Surprise, surprise hit and runs are up.

I also had a heated debate with a Mexican coworker of mine saying that it’s a right for people to drive here and have a DL. I advised him no, it’s a privilege to be able to drive and not a right. If you can afford the insurance then you have the privilege to drive, which shows that you’re a responsible adult. This just went over this person’s head.

I'm in the Illegal ''Capitol'' of the State and they truly believe they have a Right to benefits, schooling, free Med, food stamps, voting, Driving, phones, subsidized electric and water as well as housing. There are County Teams that drive out and find them, then set up tables to register them for all the services they can get.......insanity, at the Taxpaying Citizens expense.:crazy:

Illegals don't want DLs so they can follow the law per se; they need DLs b/c it is the gateway to American life. A U.S. DL makes it easier to open a bank account, board a flight, rent an appliance, enter a gov't building and so on...
