I had a 2010 sr5 and really enjoyed it, but I felt I was still wanting more and after a lot of research and 6 months of searching I found exactly what I wanted.
I recently purchased a white 2006 sr5, v8 with 3rd row in unbelievable condition and 50k miles.
My question is: it seems the 06 sr5 is an odd beast in that it is supposed to still have the smaller calipers (12.×?), yet I've seen conflicting reports.
I'm under the impression that with the smaller calipers I can fit 16s as well as the stock 17 (265/65/17).
I'm trying to pick up a second set of wheels and i find great deals on tacoma take offs or fjs, but I want to make sure they will fit.
Any draw backs to running a 16 other than the speedo being off?
Thanks so much
