Caliper click? Braking and accelerating. 06 V8

I have a 2006 V8 and most every time I brake or accelerate there’s a click from the driver side wheel area. The brakes were done by a local shop previously.
I’m wondering if anyone else experiences this or if there are clues as to what to look into.
The X-reas suspension is on its way out so maybe it’s that but I’m leaning towards something in the brake system.

might be missing some anti-rattle clips. take it back to the shop that did the work and ask them to check. might be an easy fix.

My powerstop pads don't fit as tightly on the pins as the OEM pads did so you hear them shift around when braking accelerating. I've found that TWO OEM anti rattle clips are the ticket to soften it. The anti rattle clips that came in the hardware bag with the powerstop pads have a slightly different bend and fall out easily, when they're missing, you click. Silly but OEM hasn't fallen out in over 2 years.
