I'm rebuilding a set of calipers for the Tundra brake upgrade. When I removed the pistons there are a few scuffs on the chrome. Can these be polished out or used as is? They all have the same imperfections. I'd like to avoid buying 8 new pistons if possible. Pics:
I would use 600 or greater wet/dry sandpaper saturated in light machine oil and carefully 'polish' the pistons. You will get a glass smooth finish on the pistons and will be good to go with the rebuild:flamethrwoer2:. Use Toyota oem rebuild kit.
