Calling all 4runners for JMU autoshow!!

Hey everybody, so in a couple weeks the car club at my school (James Madison University) is putting on their annual car show. Just as a disclaimer I am not a member as there is only one truck in the whole club. The truck just so happens to be a 2002 taco. This guy has been putting in a ton of work to get a huge Toyota off road presence (Mostly Tacomas and FJs so far) at this event and I told him I'd try and get some 4runners interested. I believe he's expecting 10-15 Toyota 4x4's as of now but trying to get as many as we can. There will be an articulation ramp, dyno, prizes, raffle and a bunch of other cool stuff. There are even 2 $100 toytec gift cards in the raffle. I know the Toyota show in Harrisonburg in October was amazing and I just wanted to try and help him get a few more trucks and make it just as big as that one.

This sounds awesome, I'm in HS right now and looking at colleges so it would be cool to bring the 4runner up to the show and see the campus at the same time. I'm going to VT for an engineering open house visit the next day so I might not have the time to come up to harrisonburg but I'll let you know as it gets sooner to the date.
I don't have a lift or anything either but could always show my truck anyway. I'd definitely be up for a flagpole/meadow run after since I've never been up there.
 
Awesome man! Yeah definitely come up if you can! No need to be lifted or anything, just come show off your truck. Flagpole is definitely a good first timer/stock friendly run too. Definitely simple, but still fun

Ran it past Robin, and it looks good for us to make an appearance, and then a run up to Flag Pole/Meadow Knob. It'll be good to get out on the trails again.

That's great! Leaving in 5 minutes to go run up there with a group from the beach. Perks of living 20 minutes from a trail ;)
