Calling Limited fender flare experts

So for those with Limited or 2000+ wide flares, how does one remove the extension on the front bumper?

I got a 4Runner with this piece broken. If I find one at a wrecker I need to know how to pull it without breaking it. Thanks.

I have both pieces- I could sell you one or both. They are simply bolted to the bumper and valance with 10mm head nuts.

The limited flares are scratch magnets. I'm glad I have the smaller SR5 flares.

I believe there's a rivet located between the the fender flare and bumper flare that needs to be drilled.

The '97 Limited, '99 SR5, and '02 Limited I have taken off have all been the same- as far as attachment method. They attach with 3 or 4 studs/nuts. The studs at the top are secured to plastic brackets that rivet to the flare pieces, but there is no reason to remove the rivets [emoji1360]

Hi I have a 99 Limited. The lower part of the flare is part of the body flare correct?
Can it be masked off to paint it and would it look right?

I just replaced one of mine,and I think you have to move the wheel well cove out of the way and feel for the bolts.My advise will be to spray some liquid wrench on them and let it sit for a bit.

Hey! I know this is almost a year old but did you ever end up selling those? The ‘99 Limited I just bought is missing them on both sides. Would gladly purchase off another member before eBay or hunting though junkyards.
