Just a reminder to everyone- Prepare your trucks! Make sure you have a FULL SIZE SPARE and at least ONE tow point ON EACH END OF THE VEHICLE.

I've run all with open diffs, no armor and 33" tires.

LoL...I really want skids and sliders before I want a bigger lift for this trip.

Also try and get an idea of what kind of trail you're willing to run:
Green- easy, dirt roads, small rocks, mud
Blue- dirt and rocks, some bowls, should have 31"+
Black- should have armor, damage likely, at least 33"+
Red- need armor, rollover possible, body damage likely, at least 35"+

Stock 5th Gen Here...not trying to destroy it (yet)...I've never been to RC before but I'm thinking it could handle Green and Blue's without any damage. If you more experienced guys are going to try Black or Reds is it possible for me to park my truck somewhere and ride along with you guys?

I may be up for some blacks (easier end) if you wanna ride along in my 3rd gen. I should have room for 2 people, as the gf will most likely be in the front seat with me, or running crying back to the start post wanting to leave saying this cr@p is too scary:zoom:

PS with a locker like you have, you'll have no problems on Greens and Blues. I was blindly following some guys last time (bad idea, get familiar with the park layout haha) and ended up in the middle of a pretty rough black trail without even knowing it.

If it's a TE you could definitely run some blues...blacks might be out of the question without sliders and a little more clearance. I'll have an open back seat for you to pile in.

For you stock guys- don't feel pressured to run a trail or section you're not comfortable with. There's no shame in taking a few bypasses. I have the nicest and smallest truck in my local club and I'm all for challenging myself and my truck but I've taken quite a few bypasses.
I figure I'll lead the pack to demo the trail- you guys can watch my lines and technique, and then I'll spot you through.
We'll also want a pretty strong truck to be anchor.

Count me in! I'm on the eastern shore of Maryland, so I'll prolly just plan to leave early Sat. morning. My truck is stock and my TC is iffy at the moment- rear locker works tho lmao, So I'll probably stick to the green trails.

They're saying rain Friday night, a shower or two Saturday morning but then going to partly cloudy with temps in the mid 50's. Sunday looks like it will be even nicer. Who all is staying Saturday and Sunday? I might be able to make it up for a half day or so on Sunday.

Gates open at what 8? I could be there around 8-8:30. Don't worry about it if you werent planning on staying Sunday, it was just a thought and the more I think about it it's probably not a good thought. It wouldnt be worth the drive for a half day and if something breaks on me I'm screwed.

I just set up a side job for Sunday but I can ask them if I can do it after I get done work on Saturday and if thats going to work for them then I'm definitely down. I just have to swap out a few light fixtures and ceiling fans and add a new receptacle so it should only take a couple of hours it's just going to be up to them if they want me in their house until 8:00 Saturday night.

Of course I just saw this, and have furniture being delivered to my place on Saturday! If folks will be out there Sunday I can make it. If there's any decent camping nearby I cuold probably make it out Saturday night to get an early start Sunday.
