Camping gear ORDERED, cant wait for camping now!

Thanks to the input of forum members i have finally decided on a camping set up for the 4Runner.

Currently on order:

LFD Off road 3/4 roof rack
OVS Nomadic 3 Roof Top Tent
Ecoflow River max plus power station
ironman 4X4 area/camping light

I had used truck bed tents on my old power wagon which were fine. but the material quality is (hopefully) nothing like that over the OVS tent. but it was a hassle as all the gear was in the truck bed, so we had to unload EVERYTHING prior to tent set up.

with the Ecoflow power station i am also hoping to make it a more comfortable place for the wife. with this we can hook up camp lighting to avoid wondering around in the pitch black dark. in addition, this power station should easily be able to handle a small electric kettle for our tea, the camp area light, and also an LED strip inside the tent for quite a while. i am sure i can find more uses for it down the road.

Anyway, i know this is a pointless thread. but i am pretty dang excited about this set up, and cannot wait to put it to use!

Your enthusiasm is very welcome, and not at all pointless to someone like me who is a 1 year owner of a 2021 Turd Off Road. I am currently making small, medium, and large changes/mods to my vehicle and I cannot wait to get to it's final form so that I can go out and have fun.

Posts like yours keep me excited, and are very helpful with opinions and ideas. So keep them coming!

Also, post pics of your setup when you can.

I am also at 1 year of ownership in June of this year! i am also doing the exact same thing you are. Small, medium, BIG changes.

first and foremost was tires. stock size K02, which will allow me to get to most places i want.... for now.

the tent was a BIG change, because it came with ordering a roof rack also.

next item will be a medium class. which is rock sliders. from there, its time to attack the suspension.

Thank you for your encouragement also! very nice to hear. i will absolutely post up some pictures once i have everything mounted. Still will be a couple of weeks before i get the rack. but once i do, im outta here and to the camp site!
