You will need to build up the lower portion to make it level. Otherwise its just the princess and the pea scenario.

How you approach this depends on how many campers are involved, and how much gear you are bringing.

If it is for a couple, then you may be looking at a more elaborate build. A platform like Ripper238's might work for a cozy couple, but for more space and stowage, you may want to consider a raised platform. There are several build threads around.

If it is for just one person, Ripper's solution would work for you. I needed more storage, so I decided on a simple raised platform solution. It worked out extremely well.
