Camping setups

Anyone tow a camper with their 4Runner? I'd like to see what everyone does for camping setups! We've been tenting for years, but I'm getting too (wise) to sleep in a tent unless I have to :flipoff:.

When I first got the 2001 4Runner, I went on a long camping trip, 5 week trip, but around 2005 I converted to a pop up camper.

A pop up is looked down upon by most everyone, tent campers think you have gone to the dark side and RV campers think you are not a REAL RV.


Edit: I noticed you put this in the 5th gen section. My 3rd and 4th tow 5,000 pounds, the same as the 5th. I think the V8 tows 7,200 or so.
