I'm asking because, on Baja design technical specs for the OnX6 the voltage requirements is 13.5 volts. On my 4runner the voltage fluctuates from the low 12 volts to a mid 13 volts. I was wondering if some king of voltage boost would be required to run the OnX6, or if the the 4runnerÂ’s alternator is good enough.

As you (Obviously) know, the Gen-5 4Runner is very light on Extra electrical power supply! I just posted a thread about raising the voltage (not to be confused with current availability), from your factory alternator, for a solid fully charged battery!

I don't know what the 30 inch LED-Bar (Maximum) power consumption rating is; most LED-Bars can be fairly efficient, which is their main selling point compared to the stock Halogen bulbs!
I did a tutorial thread about Alternators, and I think I calculated the factory 130A unit having about 20A to spare; "Nothing to write home about!" But if that's the only electrical mod you're planning for your 4R, you should be fine! I'd double check the amp rating of the LED's that you're considering though, ...B-4... you buy the kit! Your alternator most likely is capable of 13.3v to 13.8v right now! With my mod, you'll Boost your voltage approximately 2/3'rds of a volt, which
Should bring the system up to 13.9v to 14.4v!
Most of the LEDs that I've reviewed have an operating range of 9.5v to 17v; according to their spec sheets! But I guess that depends on the manufacturer, and how Honest that they wanna be, some companies post a "Wish-list" at best!
