Can anyone tell me approx how many miles are on/left in these duratracs?

I've pushed tires pretty far I'd say if in great shape overall that tread will hold up for about 5k on the highway. I would check the date and go by overall condition rather than depth if you are only concerned with longevity

Appears to be at least half of new tread, way more than 5k. Any others have any input?

I agree, that is a lot of tread, nowhere near done.

Rough guess I'd say 15-20k if you treat them right, rotate regularly, don't abuse them.

I have a set on my Xterra, I haven't checked recently but I anticipate getting well over 50k out of them. If I'm not mistaken, I'm thinking they are over 50k now and I'm still not quite ready to replace them.

Well I had the GY Duratracs and I got roughly 60k miles out of them. I rotated them every 5K miles. I would say from the eyeball test you could get anywhere from 12-20k miles out of them as long as you keep them rotated every 5K miles.

Lots of tread left I have 60k on 2 of mine and they are a little less than that. The question will be, how loud are they? This is the time noise starts creeping in on them. Probably a good reason why you bought them used with that much tread. Just turn up the radio!
