Can anyone verify if the shifter assembly is the same from 03-09?

I somehow managed to break something in my shifter backing my truck out of the garage to get my lawnmower out. It shifts, but it vibrates and flops around. I'm assuming they're all the same, I ordered one off eBay but it's out of an 07. Mine is an 03. I guess if no one knows, I can report back when I get it, lol.

The shifter assembly was the same 03-09. The shifter surround (plastic trim on center console) had a few different variations depending on year and options

Great news. It came yesterday and looks exactly the same.

Just to confirm, I installed it today and everything is in fact exactly the same. My old one had a broken/loose metal pin in the base when I pulled it. No idea where it goes inside the shifter.
