can i fit 255/85r16 on my 4th gen??

I have the daystar lift 2.5/1.5. Can I fit these tires with out trimming. They are 33's but not as wide as 275 or 285.

I have 32's on my DS kit and I had minor rubbing at full lock, so I imagine 33's will require some trimming...

If your planning on running spacers then get ready to start trimming

also, in case it matters, pretty sure ur spare will not fit in the stock location

Not worried about a spare, looking to get the roof basket. Is the rubbing from the diameter or the width? I thought all the rubbing was from the tires being too wide

well the rubbing would be from the diameter in this case... 255 is a skinnier tire

You will most likely have to remove the rear mud flaps, and trim the front fender liner up front. Or at the very least move it forward.

ok, to sound like a noob, what is the point of spacers? for a wider tire? will i need to use spacers with 255/85r16 ??
