Is the OP holding NLGI-0 grease? Or is the #2 in the "red 'n tacky" title area inferring that it is NLGI2?

I think I use that grease, not 100% sure, on the spindles when I have replaced the front axles; helps slide things in. But from what it looks like on Oriely the "#2" does mean it is NLG2. Oriely TACKY #2 ( read the prod desc). Good luck and have fun!

IMO, after all the reading I did for that grease thread, My recommendation is to pick up a tube of moly grease that is NLGI2 and just put that in everything. I don't think Moly will hurt anything, and since I am not the best about religiously greasing, I think it will be beneficial to have the moly in there.

Thank you sir. Any quallity brands you can recommend ? So the grease I have is multi purpose grease and is not moly ? But Is NLGI2?
Do u use moly on yours ? And moly will be good for slip yoke and for other zerks as you say. Just double checking.

Don't worry about it so much. Just put some moly grease in your gun and put it in everything (this is what I do). As Nevada said, and as has been said many times, any grease is better than no grease. As was said in the grease thread, it'd even be better to put buttery flavored crisco in there than to never put any grease in at all. Look up up the episode of VICE on African trucking (actually it's called Africa's Cowboy Capitalists). When they have a problem on the road and lose their gear oil in their trucks, they shove bananas into the diff in place of gear oil. Anything slippery is better than nothing.

Slightly interesting. Those guys are don't know what they are doing, I mean they forgot to clean the anvil between the first 2 tests...
I can't even find someone who sells that off-road grease, just Amsoil directly. If they want me to buy their product, they better find a way for me to buy 1 tube without doubling the price with shipping.
A good product is worthless if it is unavailable at the already 2x price...
For clarity on that, I get no hits on that product from autozone, advance, or oreiley's, no hits on google shopping, not on amazon, after that, I'm done trying to buy a more expensive product... Amsoil kind of sucks, I mean, if I want to give them my money, but they try to make that as hard as possible...
