Can someone help me out with this noise??

I have a 1999 Limited with 103K, did a water pump and timing belt change at 90K.
I did not change the pulleys or idler pulley when I did, and I am thinking maybe I should have.

Truck runs great with no problems......but I am starting to get a sound that is slowly getting louder.
I have uploaded a link to Youtube, not sure if you can hear it from the video or not.

It sounds close to the same sound I was getting on my in ground pool pump when the bearing was starting to go.

Any suggestions.

Sump'n ain't right, cuz sump'ns wrong.... I would try removing one accessory belt at a time and see when the noise goes away, if it doesn't you'll know its behind the timing cover and you'll at least have the belt removal part of the job done:biggrin2:

You can also get a long screw driver or a long extension (any long dense object) and put one end on a non moving part near each pulley and one end to your ear and listen for noise. Just be careful not to get the tool in the belt or fan while the engine is running. This should help you locate the noise before taking stuff apart.

Either way, I agree with @whitsonmetalworks sumpn ain't right.
