So i bought a 200 T4R SR5 highlander, and this thing came with my keys, the dealer had no clue what it is, and it has no identifying marks. it is a button with a exclamation point at the top, i press the button and nothing happens, I assume the batteries are dead. can someone please tell me what this is, and maybe give me some info on it and how to use it?
P.S. I know it's not a panic button, the truck came with an aftermarket remote start with security system, the truck starts and runs with AND without it, so maybe some kind of lo-jack system?
SOLVED. it's a motion activated start disabler, the truck wont start unless this key chain is on my person, (on the key ring, in pocket or purse.) The truck will still work if the batteries are dead, so I have no clue how that works, but it is pretty cool, not sure if I want to put a battery in it or not, it says that if i loose the transponder, the "original equipment will be placed in the glove box, I have no clue what the original equipment was so I can't replace it and i think im SOL if i loose it or if it breaks.
