Can this be replaced?

Well my starter went up in my truck and the replacement denso unit came today. Great! Except I opened the box to find one of the clips is broken. Not great. Do you know if this piece can be replaced? I'll post pictures of what I mean.

My problem now is that I've gotta get my truck running asap and can't wait for another starter in the mail. I've already contacted the place I bought it from and am waiting to hear back but like I mentioned I really need to make something work. Any ideas?

Also I'm posting from my cell phone so I do apologise if the pictures format weirdly or really big or what not.

I don't think so. I cannot find a separate pn for that plastic piece.
You have to replace the whole solenoid as a unit to get that lone plastic piece.
28150-62030 3.4L 1.8kw starter, $109 Camelback.

Well I just spent $119 on this starter. Looks like I might have to just send this one back

if You really need truck running just install this starter, connect wire connector to broken tab (use electric grease to prevent corrosion) and zip tight connector to broken plastic.

Thanks haha I ended up sending it back. Only reason I wanted to fix it was because of time but a new one should be here Tuesday. Figures I've got the old starter out and ready to put the new one in and I see that in the box. Oh well it'll be running soon

At least you got the hard part done. Putting in clean/new parts after you have figured out how to get the old one out is easy (as long as you remember how you took it apart).

Oh yeah you're right with that. It was a hassle getting the old one out but I've got bigger problems now. Replacement starter for the one that i received broken came in today... and it was broken too. I've decided to just get a refund and rebuild mine with new contacts. Hopefully my contacts were the only problem and I can get back on the road.

So today in my search for a denso, I saw the replacement part you are looking for...."starter switch terminal 76-82576". Hope it's not too late for ya.

I had to replace my starter today. Took 45min to remove, rebuild, re-install. It slides out at an angle thru wheelwell.
 
Only thing better than getting broken replacement parts in the mail is getting broken replacements for your broken replacement parts.

Holy hell... What is the world coming to!

I only just saw this! But its okay, I ended up rebuilding it and it fired right up! Good to know that there is a part number for that though. Thanks for the help!

Yeah, a refund was what I really wanted. I got the oem contacts and a new plunger for a great price and got my refund too. It was worth it to just wait and rebuild the old one. Wish I went that route in the first place!

I ended up just rebuilding the old one. When I opened up my old one, it didn't seem like there was a very good way to remove it. It looks like I could have used a soldering iron to melt away the joint and remove the connector to re-solder it, but I rather just replace the contacts. I think me soldering it with a crappy harbor freight soldering iron would leave a weak link in the system
