I have the 2011 sr5 and is there anyway to roll the windows down with hold down or using the remote..... It's hot in De.
Nope.
Yep.
Mine does it by holding the unlock button down. The dealer can program it that way.
This is exactly right. As others have done, my dealer changed this setting for me at no cost at the 5,000 mile meet and greet. In addition, I had them also enable the moon-roof to open with the windows, but also had them change the default slide open to tilt open. Again, there's no way to enable CLOSING the windows/moon-roof, with the remote entry regardless of what the 2010 dealer manual says.Yes you can roll down the (4) windows, but as mentioned, not the back window. The one thing it CAN'T do is roll the windows back up though.....which sucks.
I did that...he said the manual is printed for all models and that he didn't think it was available for the SR5. I go in Saturday to get a few other things reprogrammed, I just wanted to be able to say I talked to an SR5 owner that did have this done so he can't deny doing it.
I also had mine redone last year, yea 2010 model. But while it was being done, the Service Mgr was in the car with me with the "Toyota" computer. I actually witnessed the screen which had all the options come up, "yes or no", "on or off", so this is what I would ask or demand your service tech to do, SHOW YOU the options on their computer......be safe.

I bought my '12 Limited about two weeks ago and it has under 300 miles on it.
The fob trick doesn't work out of the box.
