Houstonians!
went to the pick n pulls up north of 610, and there a couple good 4runners to pick from.
found a limited with the entire rear axle + locking diff intact (not sure if it works but its there.)
the yard would remove it for $250. they wont let you do it yourself.
Shit that's a good deal for my 2WD. unfortunately I'm going to Los Angeles this weekend on a trip. Can't wait for the meet up tho bros! //TRD

We have regional sub forums on here if you guys want to plan meets and trail runs in the TX/OK areas. If you use the “forum jump” feature at the top of the page you’ll see the regional sections on the right under “4Runner and Hilux Surf Clubs”. Just a friendly heads up for anyone in this thread to keep the 3rd gen section more 3rd gen content specific.

Hey guys! It seems like there was a lot of interest in this meet up. 8 different 4Runner's is impressive!
Now, it looks like the best meet up date is Saturday, March 3rd at 9 am here: 11201 Termini-San Luis Pass Rd, Galveston, TX 77554
(also Beach Pocket Park #1 on Google Maps)
Lots of room on this beach. Bring some cold drinks, a football and beach chairs. We'll discuss rigs, mods, and how to's. Once we wrap up the beach, we can go convoy up to Galveston Island Brewing Company (8423 Stewart Rd, Galveston, TX 77554). I can call about maybe a discounted group rate if everyone commits or more people join

more and more motivation for me to get my water pump done this weekend. i'd hate to have to dive the miata or my other truck out there. just wouldn't be the same, haha. as long as i get that pump in without complications this weekend, i will be there.

do ittttt. I'm doing a bunch of mini mods this weekend - new tweeters, led fog lights, just installed ambient lighting for under the dash last night.
i love this car! it's like legos for adults.

I've got so many good things to show off that I've recently done to my rig, can't wait to show yall and give some folks some ideas!
Most likely gonna burn half a tank of fuel just getting there, but that's okay. That's my only complaint about my rig is the lack of power and fuel mileage, but that's pretty much all because of the mods I have done. And it's only gonna get worse from here lol

Really excited overall about this meetup guys. I'm bringing some camera equipment as well because it's actually supposed to be sunny for the first time in like 2 months and a beautiful day for the beach!

i’m almost done with my pump. been super time consuming and I’ve got lectures everyday so it’s been hard finding the time to work on it. but as of right now, I’ve got about 8 hours of work left. worst part so far has been getting that hydraulic tensioner off. i must have fooled with it and had been taking other crap off for an hour before my dad got it first try lol. i think with a couple of hours each day and all afternoon Friday I’ll be driving it Saturday.
also on the camera equipment - i think it may be a good day to break out my drone...haven’t used it since rockport during the hurricane.

if you bring any sort of SD card or flash drive (probably around 32gbish?) I’ll just bring my laptop and copy it all over for you to take home.
