Can you flip the ball mount for more hieght?

Hello,

Getting prepared to tow a horse trailer for the first time, and a few more inches on the ball height would be good. Can I put the ball mount in either way?

I have purchased/ waiting to arrive the Prodigy controller and the 7 flat to 6 pin adapter.

yea - but then you either have to remount the ball or pull your trailer upside down....

On the serious side - I think some receiver brackets have a higher capacity one direction versus the other. Sounds wierd but it is true. Check it to be sure.

you will be fine, the instructions that come with the ball mount indicate that it can be used in eiter postion

Excellent advice.

Our camper (Chalet RV a-frame) is an off-road model. It actually has 11" of clearance - more than my 4Runner.

I use a ball hitch with a 3" rise to maintain level.

Even Wal-Mart has these rise and drop mounts.
