I think it was the fan for the radiator that pulled it along while submerged.

Do you think there are snorkels on the differential breathers?

They are called "Ducks" right?
I ve seen them hauling tourists around water attractions, ie lakes, rivers etc.

The truck in the video is not a "Duck" although the chassis is the duce and 1/2 used for the amphibious truck.

There were several versions of Jeep amphibious setups, one was just a rubber wrap that allowed the Jeep to float like a raft, another was a special body vehicle that was similar to the Duck like a boat with wheels, another was the snorkel setup for fording streams and rivers and some amphibious landings.
