LMAO i so didn't realize or think to get in contact with people from the board during my travels. i was in toronto in october/november and i am in vancouver right now. leaving on the weekend to head for home with my new '06 4runner :D

new owner in London Ontario...

count me in with that Canadian list!...just bought my second 4runner....2003 SR5 with 26,000 miles....yup, it came from the US of A....just love it!

^ don't have a 4Runner yet, but seriously looking into one when the time is right. Otherwise, mostly just here for lookin' and research.

Not many people in Canada want 3rd row in a 4Runner. They use to have them for 2004, but those vehicles were hardly selling, so they just dropped them. This wasn't a good idea from my point of view. They should at least give us an option to order one. I don't mind to wait couple of weeks if I can get whatever I want, but know, in Canada Toyota sells only 3 basic models: SR5, Sport or Limited.

Thanks for your response AlexJet.. that's a bit of a sticking point for me.. a vehicle that large I'd appreciate the added capability of carrying 7 passengers.. I tried out the 3rd row seat in 2004 (was not ready to buy then).. I'm 5'11 and it honestly didn't feel that bad.. maybe it would on long trips.. but I did not feel as cramped immediately as on other SUVs.

I would have liked to have had this option as well. When I started looking in 2004 it was there as an option, when I finally purchased a year later they had dropped it...It would be useful for those few times when you have extra passengers and don't want a minivan...

BTW, you can add me to the Canadian members list ;):
