Can't find the noise..

So this is the background.

In the last month I have done a break job, pads and rotors for maintenance. Changed wheels and tires out.

I did a camping trip not long ago and head this what I thought was a rattle sound from the truck. Looked under it, the skids were loose as hell and the bolts were about to come out. Fixed that.

Still hearing it on the right front tire area. Not a grinding but more rubbing sound.

Over two days tore into the truck looking for it. Front suspension looked good,lugs are good. Found the shroud was loose, fixed that thinking that was it right,nope!

Still hearing it. Should I take the front tires off and dig into that area? It is not humming like a wheel bearing either.

I have not put it into the mud and it almost sounds like something might have got into the break dust cover and is getting pushed against the rotor maybe. Note: the only time I hear said sound is when I turn right and truck leans and rolls to the left. As soon as she is strait again said sound is gone and every once and awhile it will come back going down the road.

Thoughts on this guys? This is really starting to piss me off :censored:I can't find it.

I'm having an eerily similar issue, however, I replaced my rear shocks a couple of weeks ago and it almost sounds to me like the bushings I replaced are squeaking.

Let us know if you ever figure it out.

Could the tire be rubbing the pinch weld or front valence? Checked front sway bar bushing? and front lower control arm bushings?
 
I'm running stock tires. So nothing should be rubbing or I should say there is no reason it should. I will try and get into there in the morning but we will see with work.

Do you have the metal clips in the caliper that acts like a spring to keep the brake pads away?
Do you have OEM brake pads or after market?
 
i had a similar problem but it was simply the dust shrouds of the engine bay were not properly attached, and slapped against the wheel well. .
 
Does it happen when going over small bumps/dips/potholes?

Shortly after I upgraded to the Tundra brakes, I developed a rattle in the front end. It took about 6 months to start and then find. I looked at everything until finding it was the brake pads rattling against the pins. The holes had elongated to the point the retaining springs couldnt hold them. Step on the brake and the rattle went away. It sounded like a loose heat shield on the exhaust somewhere.
 
Maybe the brake dust shroud itself? Also check the abs sensors. Mine was making some crazy intermittent noises a couple months ago...took awhile to figure out. Good luck
 
Update.....

Well,

After trying to track this Mofo down we have finally found it. Well turns out that after market parts sucks well you know. The end story is the Rotor was out of spec. It was hitting the metal clip in the caliper ever so slightly just enouph to make that annoying sound I have been hunting for. I had to take it to YotaMasters in Corona to have them find it. Eric found the issue in less that ten minutes! They are simply amazing. So I will be fixing this issue soon along with the fan bracket also.

Quick question where is yota masters located at? Am in the corona area...THATS good you found the noise problem.
