Can't get the fuel filter nuts off

I can't get them off and now the flare nut wrench has stipped the nuts. Is there too much fuel psi to run rubber hoses here and cut the metal pipe? Anybody have any tips to get these off ?

mine was a pain in the butt as well. i used flare nut and got them off. but since yours is stripped... ekk. might try a bolt out kit

Try vice grips. They will clamp down on a stripped nut.

Cut them and use high pressure fuel line and some wire clamps to replace. I've been running like this for over a year now.

Relocation seems to me to be the best solution. I struggled with my fuel filter for long hours. (I also suggest you think about your titles for your threads before posting. Someone with their mind in the gutter might think that you are involved sexually with your fuel filter.)

Mine stripped out as well. I ended up disconnecting the line just above the passenger side tire. That was easy to reach, just had to disconnect a few clamps holding the fuel line on. Once I got it off, I was able to use some vice clamps to pull it off and put the new one back on.

I guess this would only work if you got one side off first.

Whatever you do with your fuel filter, be gentle. Don't jerk it off!!!
