Can't seem to decide

Ok so for my first car, I was determined I wanted a 4th gen 4runner. Now I've been lookin at the Mazda RX8. I can't seem to decide what I want! It's so frustrating! What do y'all think?

I'm still trying to figure out how you narrowed your decision down to two completely different vehicles.

Anyway, RX8s are notorious for oil consumption and have various other issues depending on the year. 4Runners are notorious for being reliable and good resale. I'd check on your insurance rates before you go either route.

3rd Gen 4Runner and a FD RX-7 ... probably cost you a bit more than the 4th gen 4Runner on its own, but you still get a good truck, and the FD is one of the most fun cars you can ever drive. When it runs right of course.

How about the Subaru BRZ?? That seems like a fun cheap car to have! Or how about a sporty crossover as a compromise to the two cars you're looking at?? 4runners are not sporty nor are they light on their feet.

That Subaru is pretty nice! haha i really don't know how i ended up picking 2 vehicles completely opposite of each other but i just love the look of the 4th gen and all the things you can mod on it, and i just love the look of the rx8 in general!

If you decide on the 4Runner, you can't go wrong.

If you decide on the RX-8, I would look much harder at the BRZ. I don't think you want to deal with that rotary engine.

Yeah i heard i wouldn't want to have to deal with that engine, thanks! I think i should just stick to the 4th gen like i originally was. Plus i'm pretty sure insurance would be higher for the Mazda.

Its your first car, find a 92 Chevy Corsica and learn how to crash in that before you wreck a 4runner.
