i will have a set of 500lb# 36" lockout
2 sets of 100lb 28"
and a set of 500 lb 32" one lock in/out one standard

What are your thoughts on the duratex for boxes? How does the finish look close up? I've been waffling over the duratex vs the Line-X.

Duratex is really good stuff, looks very even, spreads and levels out nicely, fills voids/joints, touches up easy and is tough. i dont think i would use anything else. i thought about bedliner products, but the finished duratex is very nice. no smell, cleans up easy with water,dries in an hour at 70 degrees. a gallon goes a long way much longer then i thought.

good stuff, worth the cost.

I've used BEHR deckover in the past with great success on a couple of Jeep drawer systems.

My main complaint is its texture tends to trap dirt. How easy is the Duratex to wipe down? I'm considering monsterliner on my next build because it's textured but still easy to wipe down and clean.

Duratex dries to a very hard finish making it easy to wipe down and clean. The deckover products are much softer cured.

Fantastic build, I'm going for the exact same build based off scout equipment. I saw you said you had extra drawer rails, what specific ones did you use for the pull out kitchen. (Not the other drawers, I just want to build the kitchen portion) what sink did you end up using?

i used a 36" lockout/in 500# slide from orrorr.com for the sink section, Hettich 32 lock out only for the stove section, but may be swaping them for 28" to cut some length. and 28" 100# Accuride detent out/in slides for the cutting board/cutlary storage. cutting boards came from cuttingboardcompany.com , sink is from ebay it is SSS-1315-5-22

Can you post a photo of the drop down leg? Is it necessary with the 500lb slides or just playing it safe? Also, how did you secure everthing to the 4Runner, bolts through the floor?

Also will you be using a fridge drop slide or just a regular fridge slide??

the support leg is temporary until i get it attached to the truck. i haven't figured exactly how yet im working on a few ideas.

How much are you selling your extra sliders for?

Are your 28" 100# locking?

Do you think the stove section needs 500#ers? Or were you thinking about switching to one of your extra 28" 100#?

i think the stove section needs 500lb slides just for the lateral stability.

i have
4 100# 28" hold in slides
1 500# 36" lock in/out
2 500# 36" standard

Beautiful set up.

Do you think your kitchen design is strong enough to support a fridge and MSA side drop slide on the sink section? I'm envisioning dropping the fridge to the drivers side, exposing the sink, obviously I'd have to lose the top drawer.

I'm racking my brain trying to figure out how to build something similar but keep the kitchen restricted to only one side of the cargo area so my GSD can have the other.
