Cargo LED Lighting Actually Done Right

Although it's been 19+ years, I've changed diapers on the side of the road--understand your position. Enjoy the little one; they grow up WAY too fast. I'd give anything to go back to when our daughter was 2, and do it all over again.

mbumpus11 Thank you for your great write up! Added four of the LED flush mount bolts - two in the cargo area and two on the liftgate. Really lights up the cargo area and they are barely noticeable.

splice and power tap

I know this thread is old but, I finally got around to getting this installed in my wife's trail today.

What gauge wire and splice did you guys use for the headliner/C pillar LEDs? The tailgate units have plenty of wire to reach the existing tailgate lights.

Secondly, everyone that used the four LEDs, did you tap two LEDs per light? I was concerned with two sets of wires staying put inside the metal clips.
