Cargo net Mod

the other day I ran into a bud of mine who has the Whole Cargo Deck/ net system in the back of his T4R. I got to thinking about it and quite frankly, I was jealous. I was tired of my stuff in the back of my truck sliding around in the back. So here is what I did. I went to the Stealership and got the Spider netting for the cargo area. At first I thought I had goofed and gotten the wrong one. Then I got to looking at it and came up with this mod. I have the Third row seat option in my truck.

Here is what I did. I got 5 med small snaplinks from Wally world. They were some kind of PGA brand i think and of course the Spidernet form the Stealership.

I first put 2 links on the cargo "D" rings at the entrance to the cargo area.

Then I placed 3 links on the net and placed them here , where the seats lock in to the floor.

There is one leg on the drivers side of the back seat. Hence no snaplink. I just slipped the net on the rubberstopper leg and closed the seat down to the floor..

Overall, I am happy with this mod. My stuff stays put now. Hope some of you can use this.

If you take out the far end snaps from ur rear seats of the net and put it on the hooks right under the JBL speakers (or the mirrors) leving the bottom two on, u can use it as a protectant so when ur trunk is full nothing will fall out as u open ur trunk!

looks good, i just ordered a cargo net and i dont know if it is that type or not. I now hope it is and ill do the same thing...
glad to see someone esle with the 3rd row seats... i have them, but didnt want them, and still dont want them i wish everything in the back of the trucks were the same regardless of if you have the third row seat option or not.

Thanks for the idea. However, I also have the Rear Vertical Nettinn too. here is a pic with them both installed.............

I love having the Third row. I have some Lil ones who for the most part get along. However, on those drives we pack a lunch. I helps to seperate them Hey I noticed you have two locals you hail from. Last time I was in VI. I had a great diving experience. I dont get to dive much, but I love it when I can. Take care. BRIZ

yea Im from St. Croix, but right now I am going to Eckerd College in St. Petersburg FL. I used to dive down there, I havent gone in a really long time though, the diving is beautifull though, and ive heard people tell me its nicer to dive there than australia or the keys or anywhere else they had been.
