For which year model?

On the 2003 and later, there are two types:

1. The spider net comes with the double decker cargo system, and the hooks go on the front cargo anchor points. The loops go over the little hooks under the cargo shelf.

2. The envelope net has hooks in the middle -- they can go on the rear cargo anchor points, and the loops go over the cargo "knobs" on the sides of the cargo area.

If it's another year model, then we will need someone else to pitch in.

Is it standard that the spider cargo net come with the Double cargo system? I bought an 03' LTD with double cargo system, but I didn't get a net with it.

Initially, I was confused too. When I I received a cargo net with my truck, I thought it was the type that was installed vertically near the lift gate (i.e. "envolope net"). On top of that, the picture on the package showed the net installed in this manner.
But after a failed attempt to install it in that manner (and after reading the supplied instructions), I realized it was the "spider net" type and should be installed on top of the double-decker cargo area.

...What a waste, I can't imagine ever using this thing...Does anybody want to trade my spider net for an envelope net? :-)

I believe it's an optional item that must be purchased (or 'given' to you when you purchase the vehicle).
