Carolina girl needs a new truck.

Hey everyone. My first truck was an 1989 4runner. Lots of memories... i laughed, i cried, i partied and slept in that truck.

Then it got parked, and has been sitting for years waiting for my ex to fix it as part of the divorce. (Highly unlikely he will follow through.) I might be looking to liquidate.

My next 4runner was the 98. More memories, but a little less wild. That one was on its way out with 240k with a smoking and drinking oil problem. When boyfriends son wrecked the front end. He's now an ex (for obvious reasons.)

So, here we are in April. Tax & bonus $ in hand. I think I need me a new truck.

I have lusted after the 4th gen dark blue with the hood scoop for a long time. But I think I could compromise on some things. I was hoping to hang out and read up on my options for selling my older ones and check out a new one.

That's a darn sexy truck. In my opinion. But at this point... I'd be willing to take something affordable, and not dying.

:welcome: Good luck on your search. Nice 4th gens in good shape are starting to get a little harder to find at a reasonable price. Don't see a lot in that dark blue either. I'll keep an eye out for ya.
