Carpet kits

So... I am going to hit the interior of this 4runner first then work my way outside. First thing first is carpet kits. I did a quick search here and didn't find anyone who used a specific carpet kit for the whole 4runner. I'm looking for a kit that goes from the firewall all the way to the rear of the deck to include the wheel wells. I'm doing black carpet and I was thinking of using these guys:

New Toyota 4Runner Molded Carpet Interior Replacement Kit

They don't have anything for the wheel wells but I can work with that and mold my own pieces for that. Anyone ever use these guys or have another kit they have used?

Keep in mind I want to use a molded kit and not a roll of standard carpet.

Shortly after carpet will be the corbeau seats front and back and dyeing all interior parts to black.

I recently started to clean up the inside of my 85, installed a carpet kit from oc auto carpets. I was suprised by the quality. Molded from firewall to tailgate, almost a perfect fit, even had molded pieces for wheel wells. Only disapointment was a 8 inch segment under the back seat, no carpet there.

I paid about 400 bucks shipped, but i did pay an extra 85 for mass backing. But it was definately not needed imo. Ill try to get a few pics up tomorrow

A few pics of the carpet. Ive got some unfinished business with a lot of the interior still. Plans are to fix the dash crack, and make my own panels for the cargo space. I would like more storage inside the panels, so i plan to have several access doors,and my panels are quite beat up

Thanks for posting the pics!! The carpet looks pretty good! I just ordered some corbeau baja rs seats so they will look good together.

If you had to do the carpet again would you do anything different?

If i were to do it again, i would not get the mass backing. But between the carpet and the custom seats i got from PRP(very local for me), it is as quite and smooth as a brand new truck:reddance:

Extra 85 bucks is not worth the amount of padding you get imo.but im sure it makes a difference in road noise etc.
