Carveacre Trail/ Pancake Rock Trip: July

I ran this trail with the FJ's nearly a year and a half ago with open diffs and no armor at all. My Dad drove and was able to make it with no damage.

Now, with sliders and a locker, it's my turn.

Trail Ride…Carveacre Trail and Pancake Rock...San Diego, Ca

This trail is fun for both the novice and experienced off roader.
Carveacre Trail is a 5 mile long fire road that is not maintained (about an hour long). As the weather erodes the road, huge ruts develop making the trail funner than your average fire road. This is a moderately mild trail that is suitable for stock 4x4 vehicles, however, novice drivers and those with stock vehicles may need to be strapped through some of the rougher areas. At the top of the trail is a granite plum that you drive straight up to the top where there is a wonderful 360˚ panoramic view. The trail continues down for another mile and ends at a rock garden.

Meet up time: 8:00 am

Meet location: Los Coches McDonald's in El Cajon (Los Coches McDonald's - Los Coches McDonald's).There is a Shell gas station here as well where you can fuel up and grab any last minute snacks. Craving something more substantial? Denny's is next to McDee's.

Departure time: 8:30 am. Leave McDonalds and head east on the 8 freeway and exit Japatul Valley Rd / Hwy 79

It's a pretty long run. Probably off the trail at 3pm. It isn't point to point.

It's a one way trail. We go up the same way we come down.

Mon: Class 10:30AM-1 PM - Free rest of day (with the exception of homework)
Tue: Class 10:30AM-1 PM - Weekly appt 3-4PM - Free after (with the exception of homework)
Wed: Class 10:30AM-1 PM - Free rest of day (with the exception of homework) - unless I get called in 4PM-10PM
Thurs: Class 10:30AM-1 PM - Free rest of day (with the exception of homework)
Fri: No Class, No Work, Nothing - FREE - unless I get called in 4PM-10PM
Sat: Work 1PM-10PM

Hardest college level class I've ever taken was AP Physics. I had a C- until I worked my arse off to pull a B-. The B- in that class is the lowest grade I've ever received in all my years of schooling.
