Has anyone had any luck finding a cat. shield similar to Millercat? I have been looking and inquiring to many manufacturer's with no luck. I'm not interested in the cable catalytic convertor lock.
How many places?I had my muffler guy weld the cat on, then weld rebar all around it in about 0 places.
SURE it can still be stolen yet they'll need to make lots and lots of noise to do so, have fun guys.
Its a cheap solution for a cheap cat, about 140 online, big deal.
I don't think you would even need special bolts - they are carrying a sawzall, not a socket set!I think I would probably just go with plate armor. [ frame rail to frame rail skid plates] to protect the cats. Using special bolt heads that were recesed in. Then it would be too much work to get to them and they would move on to easier ones.

Assuming your 2001 is the same as my 97 (?), couldn't they just cut in front of, and behind, the rebar/cat rig, and pull out ≈7 feet of exhaust tubing with the cat attached?I had my muffler guy weld the cat on, then weld rebar all around it in about 0 places.
