If anyone has a lead on a Cavalry Blue pro on the west coast for MSRP, let me know(I'll give you a finders gift card). I called the ones on Autotrader and either they already have a deposit or they want more than msrp.

I'm on the list for a Super White. I only see 1 on cars.com for Texas but it's Cavalry Blue. Is there another website I should be checking? This wait is killing me!! :frog:

I am curious though. Why not go to Vegas or Phoenix and get one for MSRP? When I bought my 2015 SR5 I drove up to Medford and got it for $3k under MSRP. I don't plan on buying my Cavalry here in Cali. No reason to hassle. Buying out of state is very easy.

I have a refundable deposit down at a Seattle dealer but their time frame is November. I've called a few other out of state dealers but they also want above MSRP. I am willing to go out of CA as long as its under a 1k mile drive back.

Bittersweet! I'm excited for the new blue but sad to see my quicksand go! Now I know why some of you have two. If I had a 3 car garage I think I would add.

My advice is to keep checking Cars.com and also Cargurus.com. The 18's are just now starting to trickle to the dealers in CA, so slowly but surely they will be making it further east. Your best bet is to expand your search out 500 miles, and hit up any dealer when they show up online. Usually they show up on Cars.com for example before they even reach the dealer. I checked Cars.com multiple times a day for over a month before I located one that wasn't already sold, or the dealer didn't want to sell their Pro to someone out of state. If you really want one bad enough then be willing to make a road trip, or buy a one way ticket to pick one up. Also, being on a waiting list seems pointless if your dealer your working with will only get a few allocated for 18. No deposit down and a hope of a allocated Pro is just like playing Russian roulette. Good luck....

I would try Lithia Toyota in Medford. I had a great experience with them.

I think it is an option, as my 2017 TRD Pro came without one.

It's a $350 option. Mine came without it because there was a hold on it for some reason...I prefer it I think...will let you know tomorrow.
