Spent a few hours in the mountain for our last ride of the year.

Just got ours this last Friday. I actually got really lucky finding it saw one that had a deposit already at my local dealership. As I was searching for another one the next day they call me saying the deal fell and that it was available. I dropped what I was doing and a few hours later drove out with the 4Runner.

I have a Evo and a Cavalry Blue t4r too. lol

I called all over looking for 4R TRD pro..I was about to get an order in, but then I found one east of Houston that came to a dealer from local auto show. 8 miles on the dash. Coming from a Speedway Blue 05 Tacoma (owned 13 yrs)...I thought I would want to try a non-blue color for my next ride...but saw the Calvary in person and fell for it. I have heard nothing but positive comments about it the 5 days I have had it. Not many great pics, bc weather has been crap. Rained the next day after they detailed it.

I like your tube steps better than the OE available predator steps. Were yours already on it from dealer or did you put them on? Three bracket? solid? I don't like how the predator steps have give vs. the OE tube steps on my '06 are super solid to stand on and reach the roof. Was actually considering sliders with steps for mine but like this look.

About 5 months with it now.

Looks awesome. I absolutely love this color, but I just can't justify the extra $10k+ I'd have to dish out for it if I traded in my Trail. But man am I envious of people that have them - it's my favorite kind of color originating from the grabber blue 1970 Mustang Boss 302's and also similar to the color my road bike is painted.

If only I could just have one of each...

Blue4Ever never answered. Anyone else see these tube steps before and know what they are? I'd rather get these on my TRD Pro than the predator ones available OE.

Sorry bud! I missed the reply before.

Yes those steps were on it from the factory, no upcharge shown on the sticker. I assumed all Pros came with them? I have seen them on others. They give good protection from debris and can hold me for reaching the roof. I don’t really use them to get in since I’m sorta tall.

I have tubesteps like that OE on my 06 SportED and I don't use mine to get in the rig either but they are super solid and work great for getting at the roof rack. I am getting a Pro like yours but from Toyota only step option the local dealers here are able to get is the predator steps to order on the rig. I see in Canada the pros all come with more of a running board standard OE so perhaps in different parts of the US they have different steps on them but Dealer where I am at said could only get it with predator steps or nothing.

Those tube steps are put on at the port in TX for Gulf States Toyota region. You can probably find em online like eBay or amazon but take a pic unto your dealer maybe they can get em.
Look at Westin Pro Traxx 4 oval steps. I’m willing to bet this is where Gulf States gets em from, just like the Predator steps are from NFab

Thank you, that is very helpful.

I will say -- when the Calvary Blue TuRDs came out I was "meh" on them, but they've really grown on me. The Black and Cement are still my favs, but CB is a very close 2nd.

Yeah, the baby blue is a neat color. The wood brown ones look really bad to me now that they're kind of old. The terra cotta is probably the best looking with the primer gray behind that.

Picked up two weeks ago. Parts are coming in slowly. Will be doing Toytec lift at Toytec. Hopefully I'll get my sliders soon....
