CB coax routing

Anyone have pics or good descriptions of how you ran coax cable from a rear mount antenna to the CB? I have a new Cobra 19 Ultra III that has been sitting around for months in my house that I have decided to install.

I mounted mine in the ash tray cutout and the antenna in the rear driver side. I ran the cable behind the driver's side dash, down the kick panel, and basically just tucked it under the door sills. The back quarter was the easiest, just tucking it under the gigantic interior quarter panel and out the hatch sill. The only pieces I removed were the door sill plates, kick panel, and the center dash piece was removed anyway. Took 10 mins.

I mounted my CB and antenna pretty much the same as you did jpeaslee. Like wise...I too ran the coax down driver's side tucking under the door sills just as you, but when I got to the rear...after I came over the tire(still under the carpet) turned towards the center of the cargo area and hit one of the rubber drain plugs. Just cut a small hole and feed it down through the drain plug. I then used some silicone to close up the hole so no water could get inside. This way I can still pull the plug if I need to. Biggest difference doing it this way, I had to take off the lift gate door sill to get to the rubber drain plug. Not that big a deal...only took another 5 minutes. Once out of the vehicle, just kept it tight to the body ran the cable over to my antenna. I didn't want to run the cable out the lift-gate in fear of crushing the cable or possibly over time tearing the weather striping...just my concerns. Also to me...just gives it a cleaner look.

Good luck...
