CBI bumper powder coat flaking off

I've had the bumper right at a year and noticed this while getting n the back this week. Do I have any options to make a repair? Or do I just have to plasti dip it? What do you think?

I had a TrailReady rear bumper on my Grand Cherokee and I covered up the flakes with Rustoleum "Hammered" finish. It blends well with the powdercoat.

Is that powder coated by them ? If so that's bad prerp job. And either way, its a bad prerp job. You should sand the rust of, out primer and some flat black paint.

Yes, I had them powder coat it

They sell powder coat touch up. I have not tried it yet but need to on a couple spots on my front bumper. I believe it was powder coated 3years ago.

That looks like the bolt-on piece for the swing-out. I'm sure if you asked them, you could probably send it back to repowder if it is indeed a defect due to prep. I understand there may be downtime implications.

I've had my CBI rear bumper for a couple years and haven't had any issues with the powder. And, for the record, she is not a mall crawler!
