CBI Ditch Light Bracket

Installed my Ditch Light Brackets from [MENTION=64712]CBI OffRoad Fab[/MENTION] and my Flood ION RGB Systems LED's yesterday. My buddy owns the company and has great prices on any LED Bar you could want. Didn't get any pictures at night with brightness, but will add soon. Love these things.

How did the install go on the brackets? Any fit issues or issues with hood after the install?

Ive been looking at these also. I think I remember one person here had to trim some plastic for them to clear when closing the hood.

Did you have that issue as well?

It might've been me talking about the issue with the cowling. I had to trim some but it wasn't an issue. Its in a place that you never see. Its worth it once the lights are on.

I posted up about having to trim some plastic under the hood on mine as well... was a little annoying, but hardly the biggest body trimming I've had to do

On a side note, I think I'm the only one that actually uses my ditch light brackets for... ditch lights! Mine lights are pointed out and down at about 45Deg on either side to light up off the side of the vehicle and down where the front tire is about to go... In case there is a ditch there? (Or a rock, or cliff or whatever )

Now I have to get a set of these, CBI makes great stuff, had a rear bumper installed a couple months ago (due to hit and run). this will go well with the new front they are developing.

I installed these as well. If you don't want to trim the plastic use a heat gun and get it soft. Then shut your hood. The trim will smooth down to allow the clearance needed.
