CBs

Do any of you have a CB installed? I've been considering the Cobra 75 WX ST but i'm not sure how often I would use it beyond listening to truckers for speed traps and understanding truckers can be a challenge all to its own!!

I don't off road much but when I do it's usually alone, in bad cell coverage areas. So there it might be useful. My stereo is always on so I doubt I sacrifice that just to play with the CB... I'm just not sure.

Technical question: what's the best permanent mounting spot without drilling? Tail light mount on the side perhaps??

Go for it! I actually use the FRS radios among friends when off-roading.

sorry just going through old post,, but yea i got a cb, and even use it, lol its mounted just under the key, makes it kinda hard to see, but it stays on ch.19 unless im wheeling

i have a full sized cb mounted where my visor is but i'll be moving that elsewhere.

also you can mount a handheld unit too which I have that I keep in the center console area.

I was thinking of mounting the full size cb where the moonroof switch/maplights are located but i gotta remount the moonroof switch elsewhere and I really don't want to so I'll have to tinker around
