CD player E-02

Ok, so Im trying to figure out which of my CD collection my CD player will actually play. Let me start right.. 97 T4R 4x4 Limited 3.4L auto, stock OEM AM/FM Cass, and 3 CD changer, 215K ,iles, bought this a couple weeks ago.. I do not have the Ownwer's maunal. I have the leather cover, the book for the Securi-key, the plastic key and the programing instructions for securi-key. Ok, so, I'm filling the CD cartridge, put it in let it start playing, hit disk and see if it will play... SO on.. then after say 20 CDs at 3 at a time, it says E-02 on the CD display. I hit eject and the cartridge comes out with 2 in it. I tried to get it to give up the CD it kept, without any luck. any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The CD radio can be bought for about $30 at a junk yard near you.

so you are saying its screwed, and I should go ahead and get the new stereo I have been waiting to put in, put in?'and the CD is gone.
